These silver-plated brass earrings are inspired by Fernand Léger's work "Walking Flower".   In the 1950s, Fernand Léger frequented the town of Biot where one of his former students, Roland Brice, worked in ceramics. He wanted to create works in volume and coloured bas-reliefs. For him, "Colour is a vital necessity like water and fire". This sculpture project for the hospital in Saint-Lô attests to the power of colour with joy and humour.   Fernand Léger, "La Fleur qui marche" (Walking Flower), 1952-1953, glazed terracotta sculpture, 64 x 59 x 20 cm. Ceramist Roland Brice. Donation of Nadia Léger and Georges Bauquier, Musée national Fernand Léger. Close € 18.33 excl. taxes   select...
